Experience

I completed my clinical social work internship and post-graduate fellowship at the University of Michigan Health System, in Child/ Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry, respectively. I moved to Tennessee and worked as a therapist in community mental health until I joined the staff at Mercy Family Services in June 2005. I serve as the full-time counselor and intern program manager.

About

It is my passion to provide biblically-based counseling to meet the emotional and psychological needs of our patients so they can know and experience God’s love to the fullest. I get excited about helping children work through their difficulties and build a healthy self-image. I feel blessed to work for an organization committed to restoring the whole person by meeting emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.

Favorite Scripture

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:4-7
